Although we have been in the boot business for 9 years being around the horse business is not new for us.  Randy & I have been married for 34 years.  I (Linda)  started riding horses when I was 2 years old.  My Dad Kenneth Jackson was a horse trainer & a judge so being around the horses has been there for all of my life.  Randy although living in town always had a love for horses.  Randy saw me showing at a horse show one time(competing in a queen contest) & called me on the phone later to ask me out for a date.  It didn’t take long for a relationship to build.  There was no doubt where both our interests lye & we started raising & showing horses when we got married.

      We have owned & showed Quarter Horses all our married lives.  We were fortunate enough to own & show the 1984 Junior AQHA All Around Horse in the Nation “Cool Mamma”.  We have owned & made numerous AQHA Champions, World Champions & ROM’s.  We have raised European National Champion 3 years in a row in western pleasure & western riding produced by the mare Cool Mamma & although deceased the mare is still making her name a presence in the reining horse industry with Todd Summers & “Whiz It A Chic.
